The Basics

Our Futons feature 3 positions, Upright, Relaxed, and Flat, unlike most other manufacturers who only offer 2. So in a single piece of furniture that costs less than some couches, you have a sofa, lounger and bed. If you tried to purchase these separately, you would pay triple the cost, and need a whole extra room in your house.

Built to Last
We start with extra thick, 100% solid oak from sustainable forest resources, and feature heavy-duty, double-bolt construction throughout the frame, which means they are built to last as long as you need them to.
 Our Safety Bed Lock System eliminates conversion damage by combining a reliable conversion system with a steel stretcher support bracket. These are features most other companies leave out to cut costs. Click the picture for details.
Support
One often overlooked element of convertible furniture is the actual support it gives you. Just because it's convenient, doesn't mean it  has to be uncomfortable. Our Futons will provide you with more support than any one else, with 5 Support Slats per deck.
This means that 5 of the slats you're sleeping on will actually be resting on the frame when the bed is folded down. If you include the ends, this totals 8 points of contact between the bed and the base frame, ensuring that you will have restful, supportive sleep for the life of the futon.
Accessories
All Full Loveseats and Twin Loveseats feature a pullout, folding ottoman built right in. You do not have to purchase an ottoman for these sizes.
Stand the legs up for a standard ottoman feel, or fold them down for a lounger (as shown to the right).
The Oakland model features flip up storage arms, and side magazine racks. The Sunset features folding tray tables on each side...perfect for tight spaces where end tables won't fit
  
All models feature optional matching storage drawers, ottomans, and occasional tables. Click the Add With button on the upper right side of the screen to add one of these to your order.

What size do I need?
There are 2 types of futon mattress: Sofa and Loveseat. The sofa sizes are Queen and Full, and require no accessories to function fully. The Loveseats come in Full, Twin, and Chair, and require an ottoman when folded to the bed position.
