Why the need for a cover? We believe that all foam toppers
should be covered. A cover should do the following.
- Protect the foam from damage - Foam is delicate since it's not a permanent
part of the bed it's designed to be removed from time to time. The constant
flipping and pulling can rip the foam. Remember this stuff is not light
especially when you order the 3 - 4 inch toppers.
- Protect the foam from moisture and body oils.
- Keep the foam from spreading - Since the foam is not a permanent layer
of your bed it will tend to "spread" on the top surface of your
bed. This happens just from sleeping on the bed. Over time the foam will
spread so far that it will reach it's tearing point and those tears are
not covered under warranty. Think of a waterbed mattress on the floor,
it will not feel the way it's designed to feel without having the wood
enclosed frame around it. A cover serves the same purpose.
What are the key features of your cover? In researching
cover designs, we realized that nothing out there complimented our Impressions®
foam. So we designed our own cover from the ground up, to perfectly match
the Impressions® standard of quality.
Here's what we came up with:
- 4-Way Stretch Fabric: The newest technology in fabric. This fabric allows
full range of motion when pressure is applied, but unlike most covers
made of ordinary sheet fabric or terry cloth, it will never leave a permanent
impression. Your cover will be as smooth and tight as the day you bought
it.
- This fabric does its job so well, you can't even feel it. All you feel
is the comfort and support of Impressions® foam.
- Texture design promotes air circulation, heat dissipation. It also wicks
away moisture from your body as you sleep.
- Top and bottom sections are attached with a zipper that runs along 3
of the 4 sides, making it easier to remove and wash.
- To keep the topper in place, as you sleep, we have added 4 anchor band
straps to each corner.
- The bottom of the cover is made of tough-as-nails, non-stretch fabric
that aids in support, and also adds incredible durability to your topper,
in case you want to use it somewhere besides your bed.
