FAQ's

• I have a wood frame waterbed can I use this heater? Yes, this heater is designed to be used with a wood frame waterbed.
• I don't see the pad in the picture, does it come with one? Yes, the pad comes with the heater control.
• Where do I put the heater pad on? The heater pad lays directly on the wood, underneath the safety liner.
• Where do I put the sensor? This lays on the wood at least 12 inches away from the heater pad. Too close and the sensor will pick up the heat from the pad and shut off prematurely.
• Should I drain my mattress to put the pad down or can I just pull back the mattress and shove it underneath? You should ALWAYS drain your mattress before installing the heater. The heater might fold on itself if you try to shove it underneath. Pulling up of your mattress might also damage the internal wave reduction system if you have one.
• Should I just use my heater in the winter time? A mattress without a heater installed is quite cold. It will pull the heat from your body. This is not safe nor is it healthy. We recommend the use of a heater year round for two reasons. One, it's comfortable and two, it helps prolong the life of the vinyl by keeping the temperature constant.
