1. Do I need a waterbed frame with this mattress? YES, you must have an existing wood frame waterbed frame to put this mattress inside.
2. Do you sell the wood frames? Currently MYREST.COM is not selling wood frame waterbeds.
3. I have a waterbed that looks just like a regular bed called a softsided waterbed, can I use this mattress inside of it? NO, this mattress is designed to be used inside a wood frame waterbed frame. The replacement mattress you need is located under category softside parts.
4. How deep should my waterbed frame be for this type of mattress? A typical wood frame waterbed will measure 8 3/4" - 9" deep.
5. I don't understand when you say percentage of waveless, is there another way to rate this mattress? YES, using a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the softness and 10 being the firmest, this mattress would be rated a 3.
6. Can I use my existing heater with this mattress? YES, you may use any full watt heater with this mattress. A full watt heater is around 300 watts.
7. I don't live in Florida, do I have to pay tax? NO, plus if you order online you don't have to pay for shipping either.
8. The stuff inside my last mattress got twisted around and floated to the end, will this happen on this one also? NO, this mattress is designed with tethers that tie down the fiber inside to all four corners. This will keep your fiber from moving inside.
9. What is that white stuff inside? It is a layer of Dupont fiber that will absorb motion along with give you support. The more fiber you have the less motion but more support you will be achieved.
10. Do I need to put anything other than water inside my mattress? YES, you should pour the FREE bottle of conditioner inside of your mattress before or after the water has been added. The FREE conditioner that we supply will last 6 months.
11. When I add the kit to my shopping cart I don't see the free or upgraded items, will they ship with my mattress? YES, all free items are included in the Kit and will ship with your mattress. Any items that you upgrade will change the price and also will ship with the mattress. After you register with our company you will be able to see each individual items under your account.
12. Do I have to drain and change the water after the 6 months? NO, you will never have to drain the mattress unless you want to move the bed. All you have to do is purchase another bottle of conditioner and pour it in. Be sure to write down when you added the conditioner. The big tag on the valve where you fill it is a good place.
13. What if I have a leak? First locate the source of the leak. If it's a puncture caused by some sort of accident such as a pen or a pet, then patch each hole with a Blue Magic Patch Kit and you should be fine. 14. Is the mattress returnable? If the mattress is new and has never had water put in it then it can be returned within 30 days. However, once water has been put inside it is non returnable. You might ask what if I put water in it and it leaks? This would be handled as a warranty exchange but not a refund.
