	24mil Premium Vinyl The vinyl used in a waterbed mattress is one of the most critical components, for obvious reasons. It has to be strong enough to contain the water (without leaking), but also soft enough to reduce your pressure points, and lead to restful, restorative sleep. The Genesis SL series bumps up the thickness to 22mil, putting the 600SL and the 700SL in the elite category of waterbeds.			Reinforced Fill Valve The Fill Valve has to match the strength of the vinyl and seam construction. Our Reinforced Vinyl fill valve is designed not to leak or seperate from the seam, for trouble-free filling and draining. It also comes standard with an Easy-Twist top for convenient assembly and removal.

	4-Way Cornered Tethering System Have you ever experienced a waterbed mattress that didn't have tethered fiber layers inside? Over time those layers get bunched up into a ball, and you lose all the supportive and wave-reducing function! You're left with an uncomfortable mattress. Our 4-Way Cornered Tethering System ensures that your fiber layers stay in place and do the job they're designed for!			Multi-Laminate Molded Corners Molded Corners are simply the best you can buy...there are no seams to rupture, and, with multiple layers molded together, they are virtually indestructible.

	Phase II Air Release Valve This patented technology allows trapped air to escape during the filling process. If you have ever filled a waterbed mattress, you know what a life saver this Release Valve will be.			Closed Cell Foam Layer The DX Series of Genesis Waterbeds introduces a Closed Cell Foam Layer for additional support. This layer adds buoyancy to the flotation layers and helps to keep all the layers together.

	Recessed Black Bottom This is an advanced feature found only on very expensive, high-end mattresses. The seam between the black, heat dispersive vinyl at the bottom of the mattress and the green vinyl is recessed so that they join under the mattress...not in the corner. This reduces the stress of that lower corner seam, and virtually eliminates the possibility of leaking from that lower seam.
